In this clip from the first episode of A Biblical Frame, Hans Boersma muses about the pastor's duty to keep the church unified.
He says, “If a pastor or priest is willing to speak untruths to the congregation, I then think at that point such a church leader is dividing.
It might seem to you, as it seems to us these days, that unity in the church is the ‘talk of the town.” Unity is a fickle thing, it seems elusive and temporal. However, unity stands on the truth and must be sought after.
The Apostle Paul encourages the Galatians with these words “There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.” (Ga 3:28)
Let us be unified under the truth and have the courage to speak the truth in love.

The hope for A Biblical Frame is to encourage and minister to struggling pastors, priests, church leaders, and anyone else who desires to think deeper about the impact of Covid and Covid lockdowns on the church.
